Lamu Cultural Trip
Overview
Lamu is a place like no other. Stepping onto the island is like stepping back in time. As Kenya's oldest continuously inhabited town and a UNESCO World Heritage site, Lamu offers a unique blend of Swahili, Arabic, Indian, and European influences.
There are no cars on Lamu; instead, you'll navigate the narrow, winding streets on foot or by donkey, or take a traditional dhow sailboat to explore the surrounding archipelago. It's a destination for those seeking culture, history, and a slower pace of life, all set against the backdrop of stunning white-sand beaches.
